Here at ARi, we have recently decided to upgrade our harness lab, changing from manual operation to automated production. We have experience of designing and building harnesses for more than 10 years in the on and off highway vehicles, automotive, oil and gas, defense, marine, and locomotive industries. This new update brings us several new machines such as a pre-feeder, hot stamp, crimping machine, pull tester, and cut & strip to name a few.
Here at ARi, we are committed to pursuing the best practices, especially when it comes to information security. Throughout our company, we are working to obtain the ISO 27001 certification by implementing a standardized Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Check out our newsletter for the month of June! Inside you can discover information about our AUTOSAR software and more!
The traditional method of development has a huge number of complexities and restraining. Thanks to standardization efforts by world leading auto manufacturers, the AUTOSAR project will allow commonality to prevail across the industry. This will reduce the complexity during development and integration of various functionalities. Now, suppliers can develop a common standard function that can be reused by any OEM that requires the specific function.
Production defects are a liability to large quantity manufacturers. Although inspection protocols and processes are performed, sometimes micro-defects can slip through the cracks. A customer approached ARi to perform non-destructive ultrasonic testing (NDT) inspections on their articulated truck machines, specifically looking for the presence of cracks on the truck’s wheel hubs caused by the cool down production process. These cracks could lead to premature field failures placing operators in danger, impacting work site operations, and costing the company a substantial amount of money.
The ARi Display Team recently developed a new interface used by quarry and aggregate equipment machine operators to evaluate their productivity and performance.
Ever have a fixture that is reducing your quality and productivity? We recently worked on a project to fix just that! Read all about it in this month's newsletter.
Integrated Powerpack, Vehicle Packaging, and Introducing our new Corporate Video! Check out what ARi's been working on in this month's newsletter.
In mid-2016, a major OEM approached ARi to fabricate and assist in the validation of a new prototype powerpack. Powerpacks typically consists of an engine, transmission, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, electrical systems, and all ECU’s and software necessary to operate the powerpack and interface with a vehicle. Shortly after beginning the project, the OEM lost several resources and came to ARi for additional design support. Since then, ARi has been an integral partner in the conceptual design and development of the hardware and software, fabrication, and validation of the powerpack.
